Blogging and Free hosting sites are usually limited to supporting only html files. Please ask your web hosting provider if they support PHP,ASP, ASP.NET or PERL. You web host has access to it but you do not. Your web host can help you paste the code into a new file, and save that file in your web site. All you have to do is add a link to that file from your homepage. Some of our members have no access to PHP, ASP, ASP.NET or PERL, but their Web host has helped them create a file and paste the code into the file. If your host is not flexible, please consider upgrading or changing host.

 How do I paste code and activate my domain?

In summary, there are 3 steps: 1. Put a link on your homepage that links to your "links page". (in this case, the link "http://www.yourdomain.com/links.php" is inserted into index.php) 2. Paste code into the links page (links.php). 3. Activate the domain For example, you would create a new blank "links page" called links.php (assuming you are using PHP).   In your login area, you copy the code from the "Domain Settings & Code" menu, and paste it into links.php. Then enter "http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/links.php" as the "Links page location" in "Domain Settings & Code" menu. In your homepage (index.php), insert a link (http://www.yourdomain.com/links.php). Then click "Check & Activate Domain" menu to activate the domain. Please note that pasting the code in a .htm or .html file will not work. If you are not sure which code to choose, please ask your web host administrator to learn more about your hosting features.

 How do I link exchange with a partner not in the network?

You can configure your directory at site#1 to link to your partner's site, and set the reciprocal link appearing in your partner's site directory to link to your site#2. Once both parties approve, the one way linking takes effect where your site#1 links to your partner's site, which in turn links to your site#2.
